Marzena Milowska is an international, multidisciplinary artist working across film, visual effects, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. She holds a BA in Digital Animation from the University of West London, completed professional training in Digital Compositing for Film and VFX at Escape Studios in London, and earned an MFA in Computer Arts (STEM), the terminal degree in the field, from the School of Visual Arts.

Since early 2024, Marzena has been working extensively with AI, exploring its potential as a creative tool for filmmaking, visual storytelling, and visual effects. Her approach looks at how AI will become part of both the creative and production process, from generating and developing imagery and telling stories to supporting post-production and creating new forms of digital environments. She combines generative AI with traditional VFX, 3D reconstruction, and immersive media, with a particular interest in Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs), Gaussian Splatting, and real-time environments in Unreal Engine.

Drawing on experience in VFX studios such as MPC and Prime Focus (now DNEG), where she contributed to major film productions including Harry Potter and Star Wars, she brings a cinematic sensibility alongside a production-based approach to emerging technologies.

A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), elected for her contributions to art and innovation, and an award-winning filmmaker of the documentary Jinxsie, Marzena also serves on the Telly Awards Judging Council. She creates hybrid works across AI, VFX, film, and immersive media, exploring how emerging technologies can expand the possibilities of contemporary image-making.
